Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive non-contact data carrier system which is high in the degree of freedom of the installation of a non-contact data carrier in which an interrogator is able to communicate with a plurality of non-contact data carriers while suppressing the construction quantity of antenna elements. SOLUTION: In a non-contact data carrier system in which an interrogator and a non-contact data carrier performs radio communication, the interrogator is configured by connecting one end of a cable to the terminal to which an antenna should be connected. The non-contact data carrier is installed in the neighborhood of this cable or the cable elements of a cable network including this cable, and the interrogator and the non-contact data carrier communicate through the cable or the cable network.
