Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent getting of air between a conductive layer and a base material when manufacturing a conductive member for a contactless data carrier. SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing the conductive member includes an overlay process for overlaying a conductor 3 having a nonconductive thermoplastic adhesive layer 6 formed on the surface thereof with a nonconductive base material 2 from the thermoplastic adhesive layer side, a perforation process for perforating the conductor on the base material with a predetermined pattern, and an adhesion process for thermally adhering the conductor to the base member with the above pattern. By electrification processing of either one or both of the thermoplastic adhesive layer of the conductor and the base material, the overlay process makes the conductor closely adhere to the base material with an attraction force of charges of mutually different kinds charging the thermoplastic adhesive layer of the conductor and the base material.
