Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to fasten laterally a bolt to perform assembling without ensuring a space above a retainer by arranging a retainer mounting bolt arranged away from an injector. SOLUTION: There provided is an injector 30 mounting structure in which the injector 30 is inserted from above into a mounting hole 6a provided in a cylinder head 6 to press and fix an upper end of the injector 30 by one side of the retainer 40. In the injector 30 mounting structure, a threaded screw hole 40d is provided at the other side of the retainer to insert the bolt 41 into the threaded screw hole 40d from above and then make a lower end 41a of the bolt 41 abut against the cylinder head 6.
