Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability of mounting operation of a floating ring, useful in a laver net setting tool, on a prop. SOLUTION: In the laver net setting tool with which the main body part of a floating ring is freely liftably and lowerably fitted to a prop stood on the sea bottom, a connection part formed on the floating ring is connected through a connection tool to a laver net for marine culture and a fixing part formed on the floating ring is connected through a fixing tool to the prop, the floating ring forms the main body part by a pair of openably and closably connected main body pieces and fixing pieces forming the fixing part are openably and closably formed on the main body pieces in linking to the main body part.
