Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a generator that allows a rotation assisting function to be separately added corresponding to an installation environment since when the generator with the rotation assisting function is installed by selecting whether or not to provide the assisting function to the generator on the basis of prior wind-condition information in order to accelerate rotation during low-wind speed conditions, there is the case that the assisting function is not required as a result or when the generator without the assisting function is installed due to wind conditions, there is the case that an electric component part of the generator is required to be replaced because the assisting function is required as a result. SOLUTION: The wind-power generator includes the generator 2 as a wind-power generation means for generating power while receiving wind with a windmill 1, a generated-power storage means 3 for storing the power generated by the generator 2, and an additional connection means 5 that additionally and separately connects a rotation assist control means 4 for controlling so as to rotate the windmill 1 during low-wind speed conditions at a level (for example, when the wind speed is less than 2 m/s) of not allowing the windmill to start rotation. The wind-power generator allows the rotation assist control means 4 to be freely attached/detached so as to easily constitute the generator corresponding to the wind conditions.
