Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information medium substrate capable of avoiding a situation where the media tightly contact one another in sticking together and damage occurs, without disturbing recording and reproducing processing and printing processing, etc. SOLUTION: The information medium substrate is formed as a flat plate and includes a convex part 24 (a first convex part) formed on one surface (a surface 11a) of the information medium substrate in a region between a rim part of a center hole 2 for mounting and an inner peripheral edge of an information region A3 (a chucking region A2 in the example) and a convex part 25 (a second convex part) formed on the other surface (a rear surface 11b) at a position that overlaps a protruding end part of the first convex part 24 in a thickness direction of the information medium substrate.
