DISK LOADING MECHANISM AND DISK DRIVING DEVICE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove foreign objects or the like from a roller for inserting/ejecting a disk recording medium without complicating or enlarging a configuration. SOLUTION: The disk loading mechanism is provided with a pair of rollers 30 and 31 which are disposed at a predetermined space, and at least one of which is rotated to insert/eject a disk recording medium 2 with respect to a housing part, a shutter 39 disposed outside the pair of rollers 30 and 31 to open/close the predetermined space, and a detecting means 100 for detecting a pull-in state when inserting/ejecting the disk recording medium 2 by the pair of rollers 30 and 31. The shutter 39 is provided with a cleaning member 40 selectively brought into contact with one of the rollers to clean a roller surface while the shutter 30 opens or closes the predetermined space. Based on the detection output of the detecting means 100, the shutter 39 is opened/closed to bring the cleaning member 40 into contact with one of the rollers 30 and 31, thereby cleaning the roller surface.
