Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup capable of evading the positional shift of an optical component such as a condenser lens even when ambient temperature is changed. SOLUTION: The optical component such as the condenser lens 9 is inserted into the hole 13 of a case of the optical pickup, and bonded with an adhesive 15. A groove 17a is formed on the internal surface of the hole 13 of the case and the adhesive 15 enters the groove 17a. A projection portion is formed on the flank of the optical component, and a recessed portion corresponding to the projection portion of the optical component is formed on the internal surface of the hole 13 of the case.
