Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a box type pallet capable of preventing dew condensation in a box from being generated and hence preventing corrosion of side walls, a bottom wall, or the like from occurring and to provide an item storing method in a box type pallet strongly formed from, for example, steel. SOLUTION: An item to be stored is stored in a box body formed from a bottom wall 4 that has horizontal openings 10 into which forks are inserted, and also has the one open end defined by four side walls 6, 6, 8 and 8 extending upright from the bottom wall 4. In this case, water content adsorbing bodies 20 and 20 are inserted along at least the four side walls 6, 6, 8 and 8 of the box body and moisture in the box body or water drops or the like clinging to the stored item are adsorbed by the water content adsorbing bodies 20.
