Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester resin composition inhibiting the thermal deterioration problems of yellowing, molecular weight reduction, gel like component production, etc., on heat-processing such as in the production or molding of the polyester resin containing a diol unit having a cyclic acetal back bone. SOLUTION: This polyester resin composition is obtained by blending 0.05 to 1 pt.wt. specific antioxidant component to the polyester resin containing a dicarboxylic acid unit and diol unit and having 1 to 60 mol% diol unit having the cyclic acetal backbone to inhibit the thermal deterioration such as the yellowing, molecular weight reduction, gel like component formation, etc., on heat-processing the polyester.
