PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of drop of tightness due to minute slippage of a tight cap fixed on an impeller and a casing in an electric blower. SOLUTION: This blower has a construction provided with the casing 12 provided with the tight cap 16 made of resin or the like for keeping air tightness by contacting a suction port of the impeller 11 at a center thereof, including a position collection plate (hollow disk rubber-like member) 107 at a part of the tight cap 16, absorbing run-out of the impeller 11 and the casing 12 by flexibility of the position collection plate 107, and preventing drop of air tightness between the impeller 11 and the tight cap 16. Consequently, radial direction run-out of the impeller 1 and the casing 12 can be absorbed by flexibility of the position collection plate 107 when the casing 12 is assembled as an electric blower, drop of tightness due to creation of a gap can be improved and efficiency of the electric blower can be improved.
