PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biodegradable polymeric composition having good resistance to ageing and to low humidity conditions. SOLUTION: The polymeric composition comprises a thermoplastic starch and a thermoplastic polymer incompatible with starch, in which the starch constitutes a dispersed phase and the thermoplastic polymer constitutes a continuous phase, wherein the polymeric composition is selected from a composition (A) containing a specific interfacial agent, a composition (B) whose thermoplastic polymer is a specific polyester, and a composition (C) whose thermoplastic polymer is selected from specific polymers and which is prepared by the extrusion under a specific condition.
