Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simply and certainly estimating or diagnosing whether a substance to be examined has the inducing possibility of a lipid metabolism disorder such as drug-induced phospholipidosis. SOLUTION: The method for estimating or diagnosing the inducing possibility of the lipid metabolism disorder of the substance to be examined includes a process (1) for sampling a biospecimen from a mammal after the substance to be examined is administered to the mammal and a process (2) for measuring the specific in-vivo substance contained in the biospecimen to compare the obtained measuring result with the measuring result when the substance to be examined is not administered and judging that the substance to be examined has the inducing possibility of the lipid metabolism disorder when a significant difference is recognized in the measuring result. The specific in-vivo substance is at least one kind of a substance significantly varied by respectively administering amiodarone and a phenoxypropylamine compound. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
