Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide MHA for producing a mixture for supplementing animal feed. SOLUTION: This mixture which has gaseous ammonia, ammonia water and/or ammonium MHA, <80 wt.% of MHA content containing monomer, dimer and oligomer, and <25 mol%, based on the total active substance composed of MHA, MHA dimer and MHA oligomer, of oligomer content containing MHA dimer and MHA oligomer after storing at 40°C for 30 days is produced.
