PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of a conventional piezoelectric bending vibration exciter that the low-profiling of the conventional piezoelectric bending vibration exciter is difficult because a plurality of projections and shock absorbing members are arranged in a vibrator containing chamber as countermeasures against occurrence of bending vibration with an excessive amplitude caused in a vibration body 2 due to a shock externally exerted resulting in causing the need for increasing the height of the vibrator containing chamber. SOLUTION: A piezoelectric bending vibration exciter disclosed herein is characterized in that a case body is configured with a flexible resin so as to combine a stopper mechanism with the case body when excessive bending vibration is caused to the vibrator, and the case body is covered with a hard and thin case to enhance the supporting and shock preventing characteristics of the vibrator while keeping the rigidity of the case.
