Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of forming a coloring layer that is free from causing display failures due to the degradation of operation functions in the portion applied with a voltage on a driving substrate of a thin film transistor (TFT) system color liquid crystal display device. SOLUTION: A radiation sensitive composition contains a (A) colorant, (B) alkali-soluble polymer resin, (C) polyfunctional monomer, and (D) photoinitiator; and has the relative permittivity not more than 10 in a color composition film formed by the radiation sensitive composition. The method of forming the coloring layer for use in color liquid display device comprises a step of applying the radiation sensitive composition on the driving substrate of a thin film transistor (TFT) system color liquid crystal display device to thereby form coating, exposing the film, and developing it, and post-baking, thereby forming the coloring layer.
