Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To downsize a lens driving device which is used for a compact camera and a cellular phone with a camera or the like, and where a lens unit is displaced by magnetic force between the magnetic field of a magnetic circuit part and a current of a coil. SOLUTION: In the lens driving device 31, a level difference is provided on the external shape of the lens unit 39 incorporating a plurality of lenses having different diameters in accordance with the size of the inside lenses, and the inner periphery side of the magnetic circuit part constituted of an annular magnet 42, a yoke 43 and a top plate 44 or the like is arranged in dead space formed at the upper part of the shoulder part 39a of the level difference along the small diameter part of the lens unit, and also the coil 45 is fixed at the shoulder part.
