Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device of which data can be transmitted with low power consumption and at high speed, and a memory circuit system. SOLUTION: The semiconductor device 1 having a plurality of semiconductor chips 3-0 to 3-3 in a same package is equipped with a storage device 26 for storing the number of semiconductor chips 3-0 to 3-3 which are arranged in the above package, along with the plurality of aforementioned semiconductor chips 3-0 to 3-3. Each of the semiconductor chips 3-0 to 3-3 is furnished with a memory cell array 10 including memory cells for storing the data, an output buffer 24 for outputting the data read out from the memory cell array 10 to the outside of the semiconductor chips 3-0 to 3-3, and a control circuit 25 for controlling driving power of the output buffer 24 in accordance with the number of semiconductor chips 3-0 to 3-3 stored in the storage device 26.
