Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for detecting and evaluating a mixture by higher sensitively and selectivity based on a concept of wide area selectivity. SOLUTION: The sensor having physicochemical affinity to a material peculiar to a mixture to be analyzed includes (a) a mutually interlocking electrode or a fine electrode coated with at least one monolayer ultrathin film of a membrane forming material selected from a group comprising a complex forming polymer conductor, a complex forming material and a combination thereof, and, if necessary, (b) at least two sensor units comprising the uncoated mutually-interlocking electrode or fine electrode.
