Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform under the optimum temperature condition when zinc is continuously cast into a rod-state. SOLUTION: A zinc casting apparatus 2 is composed of a vessel 10 to be filled with molten zinc L, an opening hole part 31 passing through the vessel 10 at the low location of the vessel 10 and a mold part 11 for cooling the molten zinc L to the solidifying temperature or lower, disposed at the outside of the vessel 10 so as to communicate with the opening hole part 31. Further, a sleeve 45 made of a first heat insulating material and a sleeve 46 made of a second heat insulating material, are disposed in the sequence from the side of the vessel 10 between the opening hole part 31 and the mold part 11.
