Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alarm sound generating device which emits an alarm to pedestrians etc. without degrading the outward appearance of a vehicle. SOLUTION: A vibrator 10 having a vibrating element to generate vibration on the basis of an electric signal corresponding to an alarm sound fed from a driver part 23 is secured to the side opposite the surface of a component constituting the vehicle, the surface which faces the exterior space of the vehicle. The vibrator 10 is vibrated by vibrating its element on the basis of the electric signal, and the generated vibration is transmitted to the component. Thereby the part of the vehicle having received the vibration of the vibrator 10 is allowed to function as a speaker, and from the part receiving the vibration of the vibrator 10, an alarm sound is emitted to outside the vehicle.
