Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide siRNA capable of exhibiting effect of an anticancer platinum complexes also to cancer cell exhibiting resistance to the complexes. SOLUTION: Double-stranded siRNA is a double-stranded siRNA of 21 bases composed of 19 pairs of bases and 3' terminal overhang of 2 bases, in which sequence of the 19 pair of bases has a specific sequence, and targeting TBCE (tublin specific chaperone E) gene or CITED2 (CBP/P300-interacting transactivator) gene. Anticancer action of the complexes can be improved even in cancer cell exhibiting resistance to the complexes by combinedly using the double-stranded siRNA with the anticancer platinum complexes.
