Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas cooking stove capable of making a rotating position of an operating portion in use correspond to fire power from a burner one-on-one, in the gas cooking stove capable of storeing the operating portion for adjusting fire power inside of a housing in non-use. SOLUTION: Under a second state, a gear 22 of the operating portion 3a is engaged with a gear 21 disposed in a storing area 4, and the operating portion is stopped at a rotation position decided by rotating operation by an operator. When the operating portion 3a is pressed down in the D1 direction to make the operating portion 3a transit to a first condition, the gear 22 and the gear 21 are disengaged, and a freely-rotatable state is provided. Here, as gravity center of the operating portion 3a is decentered from a rotating axis by a weight 22 disposed inside of the operating portion 3a, a setting position of the weight 22 is automatically rotated and moved downward.
