Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an asphalt composition which is excellent in thermal stability and high temperature storage stability, and has excellent durability in a temperature range of -20 to 60°C. SOLUTION: This asphalt composition comprises an asphalt such as straight asphalt or blown asphalt, and a hydrogenated thermoplastic elastomer in an amount of 4 to 18 mass% based on the total mass of the composition, wherein the hydrogenated thermoplastic elastomer has a bromine value of 10 to 100 gBr2/100g, a mol.wt. of 50,000 to 200,000, and a styrene content of 15 to 40 mass%, and has 5 to 35 mass% of styrene block copolymers on both the ends of the elastomer, respectively.
