Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically differentiate a bone or other calcium containing substance, and a contrast agent in a soft tissue in an objective region by a computer tomography which easily brings a reliable result. SOLUTION: Regarding at least one interest tomographic voxel of the objective region, a ratio r is calculated by two X-ray attenuation value of respective voxels, or two average X-ray attenuation values being obtained by an average of the attenuation values of the voxels within a predetermined volume around respective voxels in respective image data sets, and predetermined X-ray attenuation values o1and o2of the soft tissue or blood in respective X-ray spectrum distributions from the two image data sets. When a threshold value for the ratio r or a value r' which is induced from the ratio r has been exceeded, the contrast agent or the calcium containing substance is assigned to respective voxels depending on the value of r or r'.
