Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiper motor which can prevent shock from working largely on a mount. SOLUTION: A gear cover 40 made in the shape of a roughly T-form plate is fastened to cover a warm gear speed reducer 22 and a clamp device 25, in the opening 21 of a wiper motor 1 used for a rear wiper device. The center of gravity G of the motor 10 and the gear 20 is arranged within a triangular area constituted of the first mount 41, the second mount 42, and the third mount 43 which are made of three points of reverse-Y-shaped ends of the gear cover 40. The first mount 41 is arranged on the extension L12of the rotating shaft 12. The rotating shaft 12 is arranged in the position of the midpoint of a line segment S2 which connects the second mount 42 with the third mount 43. A wiper shaft 31 is arranged on the opposite side from the third mount 43, across a line segment S1 which connects the first mount 41 with the second mount 42. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
