Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operational stability of a fuel cell by quickly draining gas produced at an anode electrode. SOLUTION: The DMFC 10 is provided with an electrolyte film 40, an anode electrode 20 as well as a cathode electrode 30 fitted so as to pinch the electrolyte film 40, and a fuel chamber 70 storing liquid fuel directly supplied to the anode electrode 20. The fuel chamber 70 is formed by an anode side housing 60 arranged via an anode side gasket 50. The anode side gasket 50 is formed of gas-liquid separation filter having a gas-liquid separating function. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
