Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently calculate estimation sound pressure with less data, as to a sound pressure estimation method for estimating sound pressure at an estimation point from a sound source. SOLUTION: In finding estimation sound pressure at an estimation point Q apart from an engine 11 which is a sound source, a sound power level of the engine 11 is measured in vibrating the engine 11. A propagation characteristic VA from the engine 11 to the estimation point Q is found as a transfer function on a sound pressure P1 and the power level PWLc.
