Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bookmark which does not fall even if a book read by a person is opened in a crowded train, and which can be used for the book in any shape and of any size. SOLUTION: Characteristically, the paper bookmark is lengthened; an outside fold is formed on the lengthened bookmark; a plurality of holes, through which a string passes, are made in a part leaning to either of the sides of one of surfaces divided by the outside fold; the string longer than a book body is attached into the hole; and the book mark sandwiches a page of the book in the state of straddling the page by using the outside fold, so as to be prevented from falling, even if the page midway through the reading is opened.
