Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain an engine stall, by restraining a shock when returning from a fuel cut. SOLUTION: An ECU executes a program including a step (S300) of setting delay time T (FC) so as to become shorter as the temperature of engine cooling water becomes low when a return condition from the fuel cut is realized (YES in S200), a step (S410) of outputting an indication duty value so as to reduce engaging pressure of a lockup clutch up to second hydraulic pressure for putting the lockup clutch in a release state from first hydraulic pressure for putting the lockup clutch in an engaging state, and a step (S600) of stopping the fuel cut when passing by the delay time T(FC) after outputting the indication duty value (YES in S500).
