Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a differential transmission circuit capable of preventing malfunction caused by input of an indefinite signal in a state where the circuit is not correctly connected with a partner side apparatus, and to provide a signal regeneration method. SOLUTION: An output 14 of a differential receiver 13 is supplied to an internal logic circuit 15 and is input into a band rejection filter 21 where there is transmitted a wavelength component of only noise generated in a state of a self device not having been correctly connected with a partner side device. Consequently, a set/reset flip flop 21 is set by input of an indefinite signal to generate a mask signal 16 by a time defined by a mask period set circuit 25, permitting the output 14 to be masked in the internal logic circuit 15.
