Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hearing aid capable of hardly generating howling and obtaining a comfortable mounting feeling. SOLUTION: The hearing aid includes: a microphone 4 for converting environmental sound into an electric signal; a hearing assistance processing means 21 for performing hearing assistance processing concerning the output signal of the microphone 4; an ear phone 6 for converting the output signal of the hearing assistance processing means 21 into an acoustic signal; a microphone 7 for an external canal for converting the sound in the external canal into the electric signal; and an adaptive filter 22 for comparing the output signal of the microphone 7 for the external canal with the output signal of the hearing assistance processing means 21, and automatically adjusting the output signal of the hearing assistance processing means 21, so as to allow the output signal of the microphone 7 for the external canal to be close to the output signal of the hearing assistance processing means 21. The output signal of the hearing assistance processing means 21 is made to be the input signal xk and desired signal dk of the adaptive filter 22, and the output signal of the microphone 7 for the external canal is made to be the response signal yk of the adaptive filter 22.
