Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection valve suitable for suppressing interference of elliptical sprays injected from a plurality of fuel injection holes. SOLUTION: A fuel injection valve 10 has an injection hole plate 12 in which a plurality of injection holes 14 to 19 are drilled for forming elliptical sprays 14c to 19c by injecting fuel. Adjacent injection holes 14, 15 of the injection holes 14 to 19 are in parallel with the major axes of the elliptical cross sections of the elliptical sprays 14c, 15c, and have the elliptical sprays 14c, 15c with a predetermined space provided between the major axes.
