Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buckle that excels in the operability for engaging and disengaging it while preventing the leg part from being damaged when the leg is deformed outward. SOLUTION: The buckle includes a male member A and a female member B. The male member is composed of a base 10, a pair of legs 20 formed projectingly from the base, and an engaging part 25 provided at each leg and engaged with the female member. The base has a projecting part 14 which is formed projectingly in the projecting direction of the legs and which has a projection amount gradually increasing from the end in the width direction toward the center of the base. The legs have an outer leg portion 21, an inner leg portion 22, and an end connector 24 for connecting between their ends. The inner leg portion has a base end positioned at the projecting part 14.
