Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a motor and a ventilator which prevents a wire joining part from being disconnected, low in a manufacturing cost and easy in wiring operation. SOLUTION: In the motor 10, a plurality of lead wires 5, 5 joined to the lead wire joining part of the motor 10 are lead out of the motor 10 through the lead wire leading part 6a which is protrudingly formed on the cover 6 covering the lead wire joining part, then the lead out lead wires 5, 5 are inserted through a protecting tube 7, and the end part of the protecting tube 7 is inserted into the lead wire leading part 6a, protecting the lead wires 5, 5. The motor is provided with a stopper 4d which prevents the end part 7a of the protecting tube 7 from entering into a position P in the vicinity of the lead wire joining part, when the end part 7a of the protecting tube 7 is inserted into the lead wire leading part 6a.
