Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the structure of a sliding door device eliminating a lead-in portion of an upper rail of an earthquake-resistant overhang sliding door structure type sliding door so as to have almost the same length as the width of the sliding door, and furthermore having a function as a self-closing type sliding door. SOLUTION: The upper rail is formed in almost the same length as the width of the sliding door. A bracing is provided on the lead-in side of the upper rail, and a bracing is provided also on the door end side of a lower rail. The bracings are slid within guide grooves provided on the upper and lower sides of the sliding door, and the upper rail is inclined to form a self-closing type with the own weight of a sliding door body.
