Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a damper mechanism having a small size and a high performance for reducing the pulsation of the low pressure side fuel of a high pressure fuel supply pump or the high pressure fuel supply pump having the damper mechanism having the small size and the high performance in a high pressure fuel supply system. SOLUTION: The damper mechanism includes a metal diaphragm assembly 80 (also called two-sheet type metal diaphragm damper) in which two metal diaphragms are welded at entire peripheries sandwiched between the entire peripheries except the welded parts (for example, inner peripheral sides) or parts by a pressing member, and fixed to a storage container. The storage container is connected to a passage for introducing fuel from a suction joint of the pump, and to a low pressure passage having a suction valve installed therein.
