Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an image processor for generating an output image with a resolution the same as or higher than that of an original image to generate the output image higher in quality and temporally stable. SOLUTION: A resolution converter 100-0 converts an original image 101 into an output resolution image 109-0 of the same resolution as an output image 409, and resolution converters 100-1 to 100-N convert the original image into an intermediate resolution image 109-1 to 109-N of different resolution from the output image 409. Similar information generators 200-1 to 200-N generate similar information in the intermediate resolution image 109-1 to 109-N with respect to a detection template in the output resolution image 109-0. A texture generators 300-1 to 300-N generate a texture images 309-1 to 309-N from the high frequency content of the intermediate resolution images 109-1 to 109-N based on the similar information. A texture mixer 400 mix the output resolution image 109-0 with the texture images 309-1 to 309-N, and generates the output image 409. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
