Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a juxtaposed elevator facility capable of suppressing the generation of a swirling flow sound when elevating or lowering a car of a passenger elevator even if the elevator is juxtaposed to an emergency elevator, and improving service for passengers. SOLUTION: A shaft space 3A for the emergency elevator 3 and a shaft space 4A for the passenger elevator 4 are formed in a common shaft space 2 constituted of fire-resisting walls 5, 5A and 5B. This configuration dispenses with the installation of a fire-resisting wall partitioned into both shaft spaces 3A, 4A, and, as a result, since both the shaft spaces 3A, 4A can be used when elevating or lowering the elevator the generation of the swirling flow sound caused by elevating and lowering the car in the narrow space can be suppressed. Since the generation of the swirling flow sound can be suppressed, the car can be elevated and lowered at high speed to eliminate the impairment of service for passengers.
