Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless apparatus for performing non-voice information communication utilizing an FM multiplexing broadcast band (digital transmission band). SOLUTION: This wireless communication system is constituted of a plurality of terminals (wireless apparatuses) each provided with a reception section compatible with an FM multiplex broadcast system and capable of performing wireless communication, and each terminal is provided with: a transmission section 2 for transmitting data with a modulation system corresponding to a demodulation system of the reception section; and a control section 6 that generates transmission data to which identification information for identifying its own terminal and communication information are established, converts a data format for the transmission of the transmission data into a transmission system for the FM multiplex broadcast system, and controls display contents on the basis of the identification information and the communication information when the reception section receives transmission data transmitted from the other terminal.
