Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device excellent in a light characteristic and a mass productivity. SOLUTION: The light emitting device comprises: a light emitting element 3 including a first element electrode 1 and a second element electrode 2 arranged apart from the first element electrode 1 two dimensionally; a package 13 including a first package electorode 11 and a second package electrode 12 arranged apart from the electrode 11 two dimensionally; a first conductive wire 21 for conductively connecting the electrode 1 and the electrode 11; and a second conductive wire 22 for conductively connecting the electrode 2 and the electrode 12. The direction of the electrode 1 to the contact point between the electrode 11 and the wire 21 is equal to the direction of the electrode 2 to the contact point between the electrode 12 and the wire 22.
