Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure the sealability of a wet sheet housing container by sealing a taking-out port in a manner to be surrounded by at least two walls under a state in which a lid body is closed. SOLUTION: For this wet sheet housing container X1, a protruding bank section 10 is formed in a manner to surround the taking-out port 15 on the upper surface of a container main body 2, and an internal annular standing wall 11A and an external annular standing wall 11B are formed on the internal surface of the lid body 3. In addition, the wet sheet housing container is constituted in such a manner that the internal annular standing wall 11A may come into contact with the internal ridge line 10c or the internal inclined face 10a of the protruding bank section 10, and the external annular standing wall 11B may come into contact with the external ridge line 10d or the external inclined face 10b of the protruding bank section 10 under a state in which the lid body 3 is closed.
