Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric conversion device capable of increasing its conversion efficiency by making fast electron transfer inside the photosensitive layer, to reduce the internal resistance. SOLUTION: This photoelectric conversion device comprises a support substrate 1 which serves as one side electrode; a photosensitive layer 2 which is formed on the support substrate 1 and contains semiconductor to which a sensitizing dye 3 is adsorbed; a transparent conductive layer 5 which is disposed on the opposite side of the support substrate 1, a charge transport layer 4 which is filled spaces between the photosensitive layer 2 and the transparent conductive layer 5; and a metal mesh-like structure 7 which is jointed to the support substrate 1 and covered with the photosensitive layer 2.
