Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synthetic resin-based hot-melt adhesive improving moist adhesion to hydrophilic base materials including cellulosic ones and cotton-based ones, and improved in preferably at least one property selected from low-temperature adhesion, viscosity, odor and economy. SOLUTION: The hot-melt adhesive comprises (A) a thermoplastic block copolymer as copolymer of a vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon and a conjugated diene compound and (B) a wax modified with a carboxylic acid and/or a carboxylic acid anhydride. This hot-melt adhesive, because of having improved moist adhesion, is useful in disposable products. A method for producing the hot-melt adhesive with improved moist adhesion is also provided, involving using the wax B. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
