Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adjustment apparatus of a tape feeder and an adjustment method of the tape feeder for properly adjusting a feeding position of an electronic component in the tape feeder adjusted using a positioning jig. SOLUTION: A tape forwarding position of a tape feeder 20 is adjusted using a positioning reference 40a provided in a positioning jig 40, thereby adjusting the feeding position of an electronic component. In this case, the tape forwarding position adjusted using the positioning jig 40 is corrected, using a position deviation quantity between the positioning reference 40a provided on the positioning jig 40 and a correction reference 50a provided on a correction jig 50. In this way, the feeding position of an electronic component in the tape feeder 20 can be properly adjusted while eliminating the influence of deterioration in positioning accuracy due to secular change of the positioning jig 40 itself.
