Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optimum pickling treatment method in the preceding stage of a pickling process in hot rolling-annealing for a stainless steel, an Fe-Ni based alloy and an Ni based high alloy for reducing the using amount of acid exerting serious influence on the quality and environment. SOLUTION: The invention is a pickling method for obtaining a stainless steel sheet, an Fe-Ni based alloy and an Ni based high alloy sheet having improved pickling capacity and excellent surface quality by performing descaling with a pickling liquid essentially consisting of sulfuric acid-Fe3+-hydrogen peroxide-chloride salt and heated at 70 to 85°C.
