Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cement admixture and a cement composition having an excellent rust prevention effect and an effect of shielding chloride ions infiltrating from the outside, also exhibiting an effect of suppressing the leaching of Ca, and mainly used in the civil engineering and construction industries. SOLUTION: The cement admixture comprises a calcium aluminate compound and nitrite in which the molar ratio of CaO/Al2O3is 0.15 to 0.7. In the cement admixture, the fineness of the calcium aluminate in which the molar ratio of CaO/Al2O3is 0.15 to 0.7 is 2,000 to 6,000 cm2/g by a brain specific surface area value. In the cement admixture, the nitrite is lithium nitrite and/or calcium nitrite. In the cement admixture, the blending ratio between aluminum hydroxide and nitrite is 1/4 to 4/1 by the molar ratio of Al2O3/NO2. The cement composition comprises: cement; a calcium aluminate compound in which the molar ratio of CaO/Al2O3is 0.15 to 0.7; and nitrite. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
