Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hanger device for clothes facilitating the passing of the sleeves of the clothes on its arms and capable of retaining the quality and usability for a long period of time. SOLUTION: This hanger device is so formed that right/left arm members 11 for passing the sleeve parts of the clothes are pivoted to the right/left parts of a frame 15 with a hook 16 swingably at their intermediate positions, the right/left arm members 11 are rotationally pivoted at their base ends, a cam shaft 13 having a cam 14 is rotatably and vertically movably communicated with the pivot part of the right/left arm members 11 and front/rear parts of the frame 15, a projection 15b coming into contact with a diameter enlarged part of the cam 14 is vertically provided inside the right/left parts of the frame 15, and the cam 14 is made to abut on the projection 15b of the frame 15 by the rotation of the cam shaft 13 to vertically move the cam shaft 13, so that the right/left arm members can be upward developed or downward folded.
