Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce radiation interference, power consumption, and heat generation when display image data are transmitted to a display section. SOLUTION: A compressor 22 compresses the display image data by JPEG and the compressed image data are supplied to a clock control section 27. A control section 34 controls a quantizer 25 of the compressor 22, and a clock control section 27, and the image data are transmitted to an expander of the display section through an output section and a flexible wiring board. Estimating units 30 to 33 estimates code amounts corresponding to respective quantizing processes by quantizing matrixes Q0 to Q3. When a code amount am0 is less than a set code amount TGT at which radiation interference can be allowable, the code amount am0 is compared with thresholds AM0 to AM2 and a clock frequency is changed to a lower frequency according to the code amount am0.
