Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular control device capable of suppressing the degradation of emissions while suppressing a sense of incongruity to be felt by a driver. SOLUTION: An ECU estimates the exhaust gas purifying capacity of a catalyst converter from a heated state of the catalyst converter, the maximum oxygen occlusion capacity or the like (Step S110) and determines whether or not the exhaust gas purifying capacity is degraded from the predetermined value (Step S120). When the exhaust gas purifying capacity of the catalyst converter is degraded from the predetermined value, a reaction force variable mechanism is drive-controlled to increase the operational reaction force of an accelerator pedal (Step S130).
